Lunar SE: Star Dragon

Lineart of the Star Dragon from Lunar EB and Lunar SE (my Lunar fan fic).

I had to nail down his physiology before I could actually sit down and work on chapter 2. It took me three or four tries to come up with a head design that I really liked; needless to say, I'm pleased with the result.

Originally, I had planned to make him furry/feathery like the Red, Black and White dragons. After thinking about it for a bit (and after a few prelim sketches), I found that I liked the more avian/reptilian head/body better, and so I stuck with that.

I know that his appearance here is a bit different from his--incredibly--brief appearance in EB. I felt the game designers made him too plain--considering how important his role is in the game (and in my fic).

A human has been added for scale (assume the figure is 6' tall). Yup, he's a big'un; about 20% larger than the other dragons.
